Every night at midnight, Shelley would disappear for five minutes. She would have no recollection of where she went or what she did; she just knew she disappeared.

Nor did it matter where she was or whom she was with. Midnight came and she was gone.

Like the time in high school when Jack Kirkpatrick came over to her house when her parents were away for the weekend. They were in her bedroom making out when all of a sudden it was midnight and *POOF* she vanished. She reappeared to a shocked Jack sitting on her bed.

That was awkward.
